Communications/Media Intern
(8-10 hours/week summer; 15-20 hours/week academic year; $8.50 - $9.50/hour)
Career Services is seeking an effective and creative communicator who enjoys writing, design, engaging UNL students in conversations and activities, researching and identifying appropriate content, and supporting daily office operations and events.
Qualifications:
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Experience in strategically using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, as well as other media outlets
• Knowledge/experience in basic graphic design
• Knowledge/experience in basic web design preferred
• Ability to self-direct work activity as well as take direction and work as part of a team
• Ability to accept feedback and constructive criticism and adapt accordingly
