College Possible is currently recruiting to fill AmeriCorps and VISTA positions for Fall 2015. By serving with College Possible, Service Corps members assist low-income high school students earn admission into college and then succeed while they work towards a degree!
Over 160 new AmeriCorps and VISTA members will be selected to start in the fall in the Twin Cities, Milwaukee, Omaha, Portland and Philadelphia. The deadline to apply is March 4, 2015. WHAT WE DO
College Possible is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit making college admission and success possible for low-income students through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support. Our organization has a variety of positions available! You could directly support low-income high school students as they study for the ACT/SAT, apply to college and secure financial aid. College Possible also has positions that assist those same students while they work towards a college degree.
Are you interested in a “behind-the-scenes” role? We have fundraising, communications, event-planning and other support positions available.

College Possible has achieved measurable success due to the idealism and hard work of our amazing Service Corps members. To date, 98% of our graduating seniors have been admitted to college, and our students graduate from college at rates 5 times higher than their peers! If chosen to serve with College Possible, you will know that you are making real and quantifiable impacts on students’ lives as they apply to and attend college.
GROW YOUR CAREER
While serving with College Possible, Service Corps members have the opportunity to gain valuable nonprofit experience and network to launch their careers. Every year our AmeriCorps members become connected to an immediate social network of like-minded, idealistic recent graduates.
Members who serve with College Possible gain understanding of the inner workings of a successful non-profit organization and become extremely marketable for future graduate school and job endeavors. Past members have gone on to attend graduate school at Harvard, Berkeley, and Stanford; others have pursued careers in higher education, non-profit management, and teaching.
