Managing Editor, Melissa Matczak, will be coming to interview students for two full-time, 12-week news reporting summer internships. Matczak wants students who have completed their junior year and has previous internship experience at a daily newspaper or news organization.

About the Internship:
Qualifications: Completion of junior year in college and previous internship experience at a daily newspaper or news organization. You’ll need previous experience because you’ll be assigned the same tasks that we give our full-time reporters. Interns work on a team of reporters and typically handle spot news and enterprise.

Skills: We’re looking for curious, flexible, quick-thinking journalists who want to get better.

Compensation: $10/hour. $1,000 scholarship paid directly to school after successful completion of internship.
