Our Services team is seeking a talented Marketing Manager in Austin, TX.

Unizin is a membership based not-for-profit consortium with a mission to improve the learning experience through collaboration, data, standards and scale. Our Members include 11 of the top universities in the country. Our aim is to improve the ways in which higher education serves learners, advance quality educational materials, promote teaching and learning innovation, share best practices, and enable the best learner analytics.

What You'll Do:

-Manage all marketing communications, marketing collateral, talking points, presentations, media releases, and online communications including the Unizin website and social media
Identify internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and administer appropriate strategies to support them
-Advance the Unizin brand consistently and increase awareness of Unizin's mission, programs and services to internal and external stakeholders
-Engage, cultivate and enhance relationships to ensure coverage surrounding Unizin programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects
-Serve as communications counselor to Unizin leadership
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

What Success Will Look Like:

-A jointly developed marketing plan with identifiable metrics, deployed with member involvement
-Clear and measurable results for audience engagement and impact to the Academy
-Unizin's profile increased through media coverage on value and use of learning analytics, specific digital teaching and learning topics, and other concepts embodied by the consortium
-Unizin Members kept adequately informed about news and media opportunities on key initiatives
-Unizin viewed as the leading source of information within this diverse network and constituent base
-All staff are able to clearly articulate what Unizin stands for and why we continue to exist​
-Strong working relationships with media and key influencers

Qualifications/Knowledge/Expertise:

-BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field, Master's degree preferred
-5+ years demonstrated experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and/or Technology-based Journalism
-Familiar with the internal operations of universities and challenges facing higher education
-Project management experience
-Experience with copywriting, technical writing, blogging and social media strategies
-Functional knowledge of website publishing, blogging platforms and tools
-Experience with email marketing tools preferred
