SAB to host student town hall

The Student Advisory Board is made up of undergraduate and graduate students at the CoJMC.The Student Advisory Board will host a student town hall tomorrow, Feb. 8, at 5:30 pm., in Andersen 114. The SAB wants to hear your ideas on how the CoJMC could be improved. Cookies from the Cookie Company will be provided.

 

Bob Wirz, CoJMC alumnus, to visit Feb. 13

Bob Wirz graduated from the CoJMC in 1959 and, after an extended career in sports media, started his own company, Wirz & Associates, in 1985.Bob Wirz, a Halsey native and a 1959 College of Journalism and Mass Communications alumnus, will be visiting the CoJMC on Monday, Feb. 13, to speak to the ADPR 221 class from 10 – 11 a.m., following a tour of Andersen Hall. Apply for the Alfred J. Seaman Award

The Advertising Educational Foundation created an annual award to recognize a quality paper by an undergraduate student at a college or university whose work best demonstrates a unique understanding of and insight into advertising and its role in society,Undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the Alfred J. Seaman Award through the Advertising Educational Foundation. Students must write a paper up to 5,000 words that addresses one or more aspects of the relationship between advertising and society.
