Register for BRDC 491, Jacht Production

Since August 2010, Jacht Ad Lab, UNL's first student-run advertising agency, actively pursues opportunities in a real-world setting to play with brands in the digital space. BRDC 491, the Jacht Production course, embodies a major portion of the video production capacity for Jacht. As a student in this course, you will work with Account Executives and Designers to conceptualize, write, storyboard, film and produce quality videos for real clients. As part of the video production team, you will need to communicate well, accept critical feedback, think creatively, be flexible, and, most importantly, contribute your ideas and skills to the agency.

This course departs from others you’ve taken in your academic career in several ways. There will be no quizzes or tests. You will be challenged to work as part of a team, for a client; to make constant progress on your assigned projects; to act as a professional; to manage time and meet deadlines; and to communicate with all in the agency.

Format: 3 credit hour, special topics elective
Time: M/W/F - 1:30-4:20pm
Location: Jacht, 8th & P St.
Prerequisites: By permission; Video production experience; Successful completion of BRDC 227, 228, 359, and 360 preferred.
