Mark your calendars for the upcoming Vis Comm workshops! Today’s workshop will feature a tour of Innovation Studio at 5 p.m., while tomorrow’s workshop will be on InDesign Basics at 5:30 p.m.
The Innovation Studio tour will allow students to see the facilities at Innovation Campus, which include screen-printing equipment, a woodshop, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and more. Sign up outside of Room 44 in Andersen Hall.
The InDesign Basics workshop will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Basement Lab in Andersen Hall. Students will learn the basics of InDesign including how to place images and how to speed up your workflow.
These workshops are part of the series of workshops the CoJMC is offering in visual communications during March and April 2017. While the workshops are designed around the Vis Comm courses, all CoJMC students are welcome to attend any of them. Extra credit is offered for Vis Comm students who attend and sign in on the official sign-in sheet. Some workshops have limited space. All sessions are one hour unless otherwise noted.
