New Community Marketing Coordinator Internship, Prairie Ridge by Eastmont

Prairie Ridge by Eastmont is a new senior living campus located at 50th & Yankee Hill Road and will feature innovative living residences including apartment living and garden homes. Phase one will include on-site independent living, assisted living and memory care with access to rehabilitation and skilled nursing initially at Eastmont’s “O” Street Campus.

To support our current growth we are accepting applications for the position of New Community Marketing Coordinator Internship.

The primary focus of this position will be to manage activities necessary in the pre-marketing process for our new community. The volunteer internship experience is unpaid.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

-Event Planning
-Answering and following up on phone calls to the community under construction
-Appropriately update Sherpa, CRM
-Coordinate publicity efforts with media organizations for the new community
-Organize informational meetings, programs, and events
-Plan the appropriate milestones in the construction process
-Manage social media for the new community during the pre-opening phase
-Work as a team with Easmont and Prairie Ridge Personnel and community staff to meet company goals

The successful candidate will:

-Have an interest in communications, sales, marketing, or advertising
-Possess excellent public relations and marketing skills
-Have event planning experience and possess strong organizations skills
-Be a positive and enthusiastic communicator
-Basic understanding of the 55 and older Mature Market
