The 2017 Explore Media Workshop is underway at the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The five-day workshop allows 40 high school students to immerse themselves in the world of mass communications and gives them a better understanding of what studying media communications can offer them. They will work alongside professionals and faculty to gain experience in the advertising and public relations, broadcasting, journalism and sports media fields.
During the workshop, students get to stay in the dorms, eat in the dining halls and explore Lincoln, giving them a taste of what college life is like.
