Description:
Journalism interns report on national and regional media law issues for both website and quarterly magazine, The News Media & The Law. Interns also have many opportunities to witness Congressional hearings and U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments and attend a variety of D.C. events related to First Amendment freedoms.

Experience required:
Significant experience in daily, hard news reporting under deadline. Magazine writing experience also a plus. Interest/background in free press issues preferred.

Location:
Arlington, VA (Washington, D.C. metro area)

Salary:
$2,000 stipend
