Part-time Digital Animator and Video Editor, The Confucius Institute at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln

The Confucius Institute at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, a non-profit academic organization, is launching a YouTube series on Chinese history, culture, language, and society along the same lines of Crash Course, PBS Digital Studios, and other online info-tube video series.

We are in need of a creative and talented part-time digital artist capable of creating 2D digital animations and motion graphics, image editing, utilizing video editing software, and audio editing. We also welcome motivated people who are willing to contribute their own ideas and artistic expertise. A knowledge of China and the Chinese language is an added bonus (especially a familiarity with Chinese characters and pinyin). Hours are flexible. Perfect for UNL students. This position has the potential to eventually become full time.
