Fall 2017 Journalism Internship, The Daily Caller

With over 20 million readers a month, The Daily Caller, a 24 hour online news publication founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel, is seeking a journalism intern who is interested in a fast-paced, exciting workplace that values motivation and innovation. As an intern at The Daily Caller, in our Washington,
D.C. office, you will be involved with all facets of the 24-hour news publication, from aggregating articles to producing original pieces. Interns will also be assigned work by the staff as needed which will focus on electronic research, but could encompass other duties as well.

We are looking for bright and focused individuals who can work within deadlines and are dedicated to the integrity and growth of the publication. Because we are a start-up, every aspect of our company is very hands on. After the introduction period,
we ask that you express which tasks you prefer and capitalize on them. Whether that is writings stories, creating movies, posting slide-shows, working with our business department to analyze statistics and improve sales, or whatever that may be, we are all ears and we want to make sure you have the
opportunity to explore all your interests.

Qualifications:

Interns should be:
-Hard working and motivated
-Knowledgeable about politics and contain at least one year of journalism experience
-Able to successfully handle multiple tasks at once
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
-Creative and resourceful
-Detail-oriented
-Experience with computers, including Wordpress, is a plus.
