The Bridge Behavioral Health is seeking a College of Business or College of Journalism and Mass Communication student to help implement our 2017/2018 strategic plan.

Located in downtown Lincoln, The Bridge has quietly worked under the radar for the last 34 years to change the lives of individuals with substance use disorders. However, the stigma that surrounds the disease still remains. That’s where you come in. As a marketing intern you’ll play a role in changing perceptions by helping to address the deeply held beliefs of Nebraskans and showing potential donors the hidden value of our work to the community.

Job Description
We’re looking for a student with awesome detail skills. A good day for you is crossing items off in your color-coded planner, brainstorming new ideas and staying busy. You find yourself drawn to fast-pace environments where get to try your hand at tackling new projects. For you, the unknown is a challenge just waiting for you to take it head on.

Tasks and Responsibilities
● Help craft and implement social media calendar
● Develop and track email marketing campaigns
● Proof, write and edit copy
● Assist with event management and promotion
● Data entry and clean-up
● Manage website content
● Photography
● Bring new ideas to the table

Qualifications
An ideal candidate would be College of Business or College of Journalism and Mass Communication student that has completed or is enrolled in 200-level courses, is a self-starter, natural organizer and enjoys being a part of a strong team.
