Reporters- US Olympic Committee

The United States Olympic Committee is looking for applicants interested in taking part in the 3rd International Olympic Committee Young Reporters Program.

The Young Reporters Program is an exciting sports journalism training opportunity that will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 19 in conjunction with the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018. The young reporters will receive intensive class and field training in written, photographic, television, radio and new media reporting, as well as dedicated forums with guest speakers representing key international media organizations and senior Olympic officials. Young reporters also have the potential of a second stage of training from Jan. 10-19 in conjunction with the Winter Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020.

The initiative will include 30 young reporters from five continents, and is a great opportunity for young reporters to experience and cover a global sporting event. Applicants via the USOC must be U.S. citizens, 18-24 years old (as of Sept. 30, 2018) and either university journalism students, or young professionals working as reporters.

If you know of potential qualified candidates, please encourage them to visit our Young Reporters Program page (http://ow.ly/8qsS30eMZ5H) to apply. Applications are due Sept. 22.

Thank you,
