We're looking for an enthusiastic and aggressive journalist to tackle varied assignments and produce content on tight deadlines for digital and print. The main duties include covering law enforcement activity and fire and rescue calls, severe weather and other breaking news. Additional duties include coverage of local government and community features.
The successful candidate must be adept at mobile technology and social media and be prepared to work early morning, evening or weekend shifts.
A journalism, communications or English degree is required, and previous newspaper experience is preferred.
