Assistant City Editor/Education Reporter - Norfolk Daily News (Norfolk, NE)

The Norfolk Daily News is looking to hire a new face to be part of our 19-member newsroom staff and fill the position of assistant city editor/education reporter.

The Daily News is a family owned, independent news organization that recognizes the continued importance of its six-day-a-week print project while also aggressively continuing to make its content available digitally. The Daily News topped the field in 2017 in the Nebraska Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest among daily newspapers.

The Daily News is looking for a journalist who can report and write about important and challenging stories while also helping coordinate coverage for the daily Norfolk & Region page. Social media and video skills would be an added bonus, and would be put to good use.
