One week left to Register for the 2012 Joint NCEA and UNL Extension Fall Conference

Please note that this year’s conference will be held in Grand Island, NE at the Midtown Holiday Inn and Conference Center and at the Heartland Events Center. We ask that you complete this registration form by the September 28 deadline or you will be responsible for finding your own hotel accommodations and paying out-of-pocket for your expenses.

Take time to review the Agenda (http://go.unl.edu/ypj) before filling out your registration form. When filling out the registration form you will be asked to enter a password which will be up to your choosing incase you need to revisit the site and make changes to your registration. Please write this down because I will not have access to it if you forget.

NOTE: 2012 Lodging CHANGES

You will be responsible for making your lodging reservation and/or cancellation at Midtown Holiday Inn and Conference Center, Grand Island, NE for the 2012 conference. Call 800-548-5542 and ask for the group rate for “NCEA/UNL Extension Fall Conference.” DO NOT go through the Holiday Inn on-line/web registration site as your room expense will not be reimbursed. Even though Wednesday nights lodging is direct billed to UNL Extension, you may be asked for a credit card in order to hold your reservation but you will not be charged for that night. Lodging reservation deadline is September 28.

UNL Extension will pay for lodging Wednesday, Oct. 17 if you are registered. Other incidental charges, such as movies, phone, etc., WILL NOT be paid by UNL Extension. If your lodging reservation is not made by September 28, you will be responsible for securing your own lodging and will only be reimbursed the rate ($77.00) given us by the Midtown Holiday Inn and Conference Center. Your Wednesday night lodging ONLY will be direct billed to UNL Extension, therefore, you will only be claiming your mileage and any additional meals on an Employee Expense Voucher. Please contact Linda Tempel (402-472-3967), if you have questions. If you are unable to attend and do not cancel your reservation, you will be expected to reimburse UNL Extension for the cost of your room.

NOTE: Sign in at the conference registration table will again be mandatory.


NCEA Members--

NCEA participants will be responsible for paying for their meals and lodging Monday, October 15 and Tuesday, October 16. Your Wednesday night lodging ONLY will be direct billed to UNL Extension along with your Wednesday and Thursday meals.
