It is not too late to sign up for 4-H summer camps which are offered through Aug. 7. With locations at Gretna and Halsey, there are over 45 camps ranging from half day to five days/four nights. Many camps still have openings! Open to all youth ages 5–18 (need not be in 4-H).
A Babysitting Training through the American Red Cross taught by Extension Educator Jaci Foged will be held Wednesday, July 18, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. Register by Tuesday, July 9. Open to all youth ages 11–15 (do not need to be in 4-H). Cost is $35.
Save the date — a 4-H Council Golf Tournament Fundraiser will be held Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Hidden Valley Golf Club, 10501 Pine Lake Road, Lincoln with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. This tournament is a four-person scramble and costs $75 per golfer or $300 per team. Continue reading…
