HORTICULTURE — Plants for pollinators

Leafcutter bees are gentle, solitary, hole-nesting bees that gardeners want to attract to their yard to pollinate fruit trees, flowers and vegetables. They are superior pollinators, carrying pollen on the underside of their abdomen. (Photo by Jody Green, Consider adding plants to your landscape that will benefit pollinators. 4-H & YOUTH — 4-H summer camps

Summer Camps.jpgIt is not too late to sign up for 4-H summer camps which are offered through Aug. 7. With locations at Gretna and Halsey, there are over 45 camps ranging from half day to five days/four nights. Many camps still have openings! Open to all youth ages 5–18 (need not be in 4-H).
