Numerous Nebraska Law Faculty are presenting at the annual Nebraska State Bar Association Meeting in October. This gathering is a great way to demonstrate the value of Nebraska scholarship.

Professor Anthony Schutz starts out the lineup on Thursday with a presentation to the Agriculture Law Section about Crop Insurance and the Next Farm Bill. (1:15-2:45 PM)

On Friday, Oct. 26, Professor Rick Duncan will present an update on U.S. Supreme Court decisions from the 2012 term to the Christian Legal Society. (8-10 AM)

Also on Friday, Professor Kristen Blankley and Adjunct Professor David Hubbard will present "Ethics in Alternative Dispute Resolution: 20 Years After Nebraska's Dispute Resolution Act of 1991" to the ADR Section. (9-11 AM)

Finally, Professor Kevin Ruser will present a "Crimmigration Seminar," titled "Representing Immigrant Defendants in State Courts: The Impact of Padilla v. Kentucky." (1-5 PM)

Thank you all for donating your time and expertise to the practicing lawyers of this State!

As a reminder, all faculty are invited and encouraged to attend the Alumni lunch at the meeting. This year the lunch will be on Thursday, October 25 from noon to 1. The meeting is at the Embassy Suites Omaha - La Vista Hotel & Conference Center (about a 40 minute drive from the law college). Just let Molly know you would like to attend.
