UNL Percussion Ensemble presents “Van Gogh from Space”

The Glenn Korff School of Music’s Percussion Ensemble will perform a concert, “Van Gogh from Space,” at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28 in Kimball Recital Hall.

The concert will feature Louis Raymond-Kolker, a graduate student in music, on double second steel pans for “Convex” by Brian Nozny. The repertoire will also include “Gravity” by Marc Mellits, “Surface of the Sky” by Blake Tyson, “Van Gogh from Space” by Steven Snowden, “Hurtling Through Space at an Unimaginable Speed” by David Maslanka, and “Tesseract” by Francisco Perez.

Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens. The performance will also be shown via live webcast.
