Science Café in Mueller Planetarium at Morrill Hall is a casual, educational, and entertaining monthly series for adults (21+) exploring a variety of science and natural history topics. Join us each month to enjoy Raising Cane's, see a fulldome show and hear from scientists and researchers. Attendees can ask questions and offer opinions in this informal setting.

Mueller Planetarium will present “Chasing the Ghost Particle” followed by a personal commentary by Daren Blythe, Instrumentation Supervisor, UNL Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences for the January 21 program . Blythe worked on the ambitious Antarctic research project, the IceCube Neutrino Observatory. Having lived in Antarctica several times, Daren will share his personal experiences from one of the most extreme environments on Earth.

Event admission is $15 for museum members and UNL faculty/student/staff and $20 for non-members. Ticket includes one (1) drink ticket, three (3) Raising Cane’s chicken fingers, toast and Cane’s Sauce, museum admission, planetarium presentation. Seating is limited. Must be age 21+ to attend. Cash bar available. Ticket sales end 10:00am day of program.
