The Huskers hockey team will play the University of Kansas at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Ice Box on Nebraska Innovation Campus. Admission to the game is $6 for adults, $2 for students, $1 for military and free for children age 5 and under.

Due to heavy use of the rink at the Ice Box, the Huskers usually play home games and at Sidner Ice Arena in Fremont.

The Huskers club hockey team is 3-5 on the 2012-2013 season.

UNL has had an Ice Hockey Club since 1970. In fall 2005, the non-varsity team joined the American Collegiate Hockey Association as a member of the M2 division.

The team is playing 20 regular season games and will participate in the Big Ten tournament in January and possibly the ACHA regional and national tournaments in February and March.
