The University Program Council (UPC) presents two back-to-back shows featuring Hypnotist Dr. Jim Wand on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Nebraska East Union Great Plains Room at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. This event will be free for UNL Students with a valid NCard and $5.00 for Faculty, Staff and the Public.
Dr. Jim Wand has been involved in the field of hypnosis for over 25 years and is “one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world today.” (http://www.hypnotism.com/index.html) Having visited 47 states, Dr. Wand has become a well-known entertainer for college students. Not only is he famous among the college crowd, but Dr. Wand has worked with such personalities as Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Probst (the host of Survivor), Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, and The Judds just to mention a few. Dr. Wand has also appeared on numerous T.V. programs including a national FOX special entitled "WOW", "The Judge Joe Brown Show", the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and numerous other appearances on FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS.
The University Program Council (UPC) is a student organization that provides diverse, educational and entertaining programs to enhance the UNL community.
