Introduction to Foundation Center Databases Workshop

The Funding Information Network is a network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit resource centers that provide a suite of tools and resources useful to grant seekers. As a member of the Funding Information Network, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries provides a core collection of Foundation Center publications and a variety of other useful resources. One of the most valuable of these tools is Foundation Directory Online, which allows individuals and non-profit organizations to search for possible donors from over 120,000 foundations and corporations! This online database is only available for use within Love Library to patrons.

On September 17 in room S221 from 6:30-8 pm, Love Library will be hosting a session that will provide an introduction to the Foundation Center’s comprehensive online database, Foundation Directory Online Professional, Come and learn how to create customized searches to develop targeted listed of foundations that will match your organization’s funding needs. This free workshop is open to the public. Attendees are asked to register for a Community Member Computer Use card prior to the workshop if not already affiliated with the University.
