Nebraska Council for Exceptional Children State Conference to be held May 11-12 at Nebraska Innovation Campus

The Nebraska Council for Exceptional Children is hosting its two-day state conference May 11-12 at Nebraska Innovation Campus. The event is also supported by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Special Education & Communication disorders and the UNL Research Council.

The conference will feature four keynote and invited speakers - Erin Barton and Chris Lemons of Vanderbilt University, Devin Kearns of the University of Connecticut, and Sarah Powell of the University of Texas at Austin. The event will also include a social reception at The Mill, research poster session, Student and Teacher of the Year Awards, as well as outside exhibitors.

It is open to all special education and general education teachers, early intervention/early childhood special education teachers, para-educators, administrators, behavior analysts, school psychologists, researchers, students, parents and anyone else supporting students with special needs.
