The freshness of the Attacca Quartet opens the second half of Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music’s season Friday, Jan 26, 7:30 p.m. at the Johnny Carson Theater, 11th & Q Streets.
One critic called them “four strikingly individual players with the ability to speak eloquently in one voice,” with “all the spontaneity of an on–the-spot improvisation.” Their program includes works of Caroline Shaw, Mendelssohn and Beethoven.
OLLI members can purchase “2 for 1” priced ticket at the door the night of the concert. That will be two tickets for $25.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $5 for students, available in advance from Lied Center Ticket Office, 402-472-4747, http://www.liedcenter.org/events (enter “lfcm”) or at the door. A pre-concert lecture will begin at 7 p.m. and a reception will be held immediately following the concert.
