Now is a great time for students to start preparing for their fall semester, including securing an internship or part-time job. Internships and part-time jobs are a great way for students to apply their knowledge outside of the classroom and develop professional skills in a field that they are interested in. Consider encouraging your student to find opportunities to gain valuable experience while exploring future career options.

Where to Find Part-Time Opportunities
Students can view job and internship postings on Career Services’ Husker Hire Link website. Over 9,000 employers are registered on Husker Hire Link, posting around 200 part-time positions within the Lincoln community each month. The Career Fairs are another opportunity for your student to meet thousands of employers hiring for internship and part-time positions.
