About the rodeo:
Rodeo performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 18; 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Barrel Racing Exhibition begins 7 a.m. Saturday, April 19. Friday Night performance to include 'Dress a Goat' competition, Honor Guard by local veterans, and 50/50 Split the Pot to designated veteran support organization. Saturday performance to include half-time dance competition, 50/50 split the pot for the Capital Humane Society.
(all events to be held at the Lancaster Event Center)
Also on Saturday morning, April 19: Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m., with prizes for all participants; Kids Day event ... play games, see animals and tractors, run an obstacle course, meet rodeo clowns and rodeo queens, and learn from agriculture-based display booths ... first 150 youth through the door will take home a goodie bag.
