Want to do something amazing this spring break? How about traveling to Washington, D.C., meeting tons of new people, and helping other communities along the way through volunteer work?

UNL is having its first ever Pay it Forward Tour this spring break, run by Students Today Leaders Forever. What is it? It’s a nine-day trip to our nation's capital with 40 college students stopping along the way to do volunteer work. Each service project helps to build leadership skills, friendships, and networking. On the last day of the tour we stop in our celebration city along with other Pay it Forward tours from other colleges to participate in a huge final service project and then a night out in Washington, D.C. The trip has a fee of $450 to cover travel expenses, lodging, food, and entertainment, all of which make memories that are way worth the price. If you are interested in the 2012 UNL Pay it Forward Tour please feel free to contact us at unl@stlf.net or come to STLF meetings at 7:30 on Tuesdays in the Nebraska Union on City Campus. The room number is posted on boards.

STLF is a volunteer organization that is run by students, for students. We create service project opportunities of all types for any student with any major. We ask students where they would want to volunteer and what would help them develop leadership skills within their area of expertise. Students from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources can get involved in the community and help others by creating service projects or by joining in existing service projects with STLF.
