New Communication Specialist Joins SNR

Michelle Rubin joins the team at the School of Natural Resources as the new Communication Specialist.

Rubin comes to UNL with a background in writing and editing. She received a Masters in Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from the University of Arizona and has spent the past seven years working as a freelance editor for authors from around the globe. In addition to working with UNL, she maintains an editing service that frequently partners with faculty and nonprofits to improve their publicity materials, research publications, and grant proposals.

“I’m excited to be a part of the UNL team,” Rubin said. “I always enjoy working with faculty and staff to make their jobs easier.”

Rubin’s tasks include manning “Inside SNR” and “What’s New at SNR.”

“I look forward to keeping the community abreast with the new discoveries and activities at SNR,” Rubin said. “I welcome people to get in touch with me regarding their interests in the school and the faculty’s pursuits.”
