Ken Dewey, professor of climatology, and Nicole Wall, outreach and research specialist, recently presented workshops on weather and climate in the classroom at the annual Nebraska Association of Teachers Science (NATS) meeting.

The workshops presented Dewey and Wall with an opportunity to further promote SNR's new applied climate science undergraduate program. The duo also engaged the participants in "Water Banking," an NDMC water management teaching game.

"At the end of the workshop, all of the teachers were appreciative of the activities that they learned about," Dewey said. "They were all looking forward to bringing this weather and climate information into their classes."
