Throughout the fall 2014 semester, SNR is offering a series of professional development seminars for students. The series takes place each Friday from 12-12:50 p.m. (excluding Oct. 17, Oct. 24) in Hardin Hall (room 163) through Nov. 14.

The next seminar is Nov. 7 and will feature Allison Poole, Education Abroad coordinator. She will discuss the study abroad experiences offered by SNR and across the university. SNR students will share stories from their time abroad. All students are invited and welcome to attend!

SNR Elevator Speech Contest

The James Smithson Fellowship Program
This premier fellowship offers post-doctoral scholars in the fields of science, the humanities and the arts an opportunity to examine the interplay between research and public policy/discourse in our nation’s capital. Fellowships last one year and include a stipend of $53,000.
