"Ashley Alred suggested hosting a breakfast or brunch to show appreciation for the custodial staff at SNR," said Hannah Birgé, GSA member. "It's a tradition she brought with her from the University of Georgia. I offered to help her organize it, because I've been around and know the ropes a little bit. Together with help from a core group from SNR GSA, we've planned a really cool and important way to let our custodial workers know that they are noticed and valued for all of their hard work. The SNR community is an inclusive and welcoming one, and we're so glad Ashley suggested this."

If able, GSA requests that attendees bring one of the items listed on the Doodle poll, which can be accessed at http://doodle.com/xkktkspdgvsn3rru. Alternatively, attendees can add their own item by choosing "other" and then entering the item they wish to bring in parentheses (example: John Carroll (hog sausage)).

This event will be the first of a series of appreciation brunches that will continue into the fall semester to show appreciation for staff members who work in different capacities and categories throughout Hardin Hall.
