Mueller Planetarium in the University of Nebraska State Museum's Morrill Hall has set its summer fulldome schedule.

Schedule from June 1- Aug. 19:

* "A Starry Tale” – Tuesdays through Sundays at 2 p.m.
* "Forces of Nature” – Tuesdays through Sundays at 3 p.m; Thursdays at 7 p.m.

Following each show, the current night sky will be projected onto the dome and a description of what to view this summer will be given.

“A Starry Tale” is a new fulldome show that focuses on the mythology of constellations, as interpreted by Japanese fantasy artist Kagaya. Audiences will experience Kagaya’s elaborate animated paintings in 360-degree format as they beautifully showcase the starry sky across thousands of years of relative motion of the Earth, Moon, and planets. (24 minutes running time.)

The National Geographic fulldome show "Forces of Nature” showcases the science behind natural disasters like volcanoes, earthquakes, and tornadoes. (40 minutes running time.)
