The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries will offer a free training session to teach how to search the Foundation Directory Online. That directory is intended to help users find information about grants and grant-makers.
The training will be in the Room 111 in Love Library on Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. until noon. This training is free and open to the public.
The directory may be searched by members of the university community and by the general public in Love Library only. The Foundation Directory Online is a beautifully designed database and is easy to search. But the best ways to search it effectively are not obvious to the untrained user. That is why this training is being offered.
Space is limited. If necessary, more training will be scheduled. If you intend to attend, contact Bob Bolin at rbolin2@unl.edu. Those who register get preference in case the room is filled.
