Cather Circle is accepting applications and nominations for students and alumnae for the 2013-2014 school year. Applications are due by May 15.
Cather Circle is a women's mentoring and networking group aimed at promoting the growth and education of women, and creating a nationwide network of female leaders with ties to UNL.
All full-time female student in good standing (2.5+ GPA) may apply to be a Cather Circle Collegian.
Students selected for participation are expected to attend both biannual meetings. This will require missing one Thursday and one Friday of classes, activities and work each semester.
Additional opportunities are available to participate on Cather Circle committees and task forces.
The cost to participate in the program is $25 per meeting. This money covers the cost of meals and all meeting supplies and activities. Scholarship opportunities are available for students. There is no cost to apply to the program.
