'Mechanical Illusions' exhibit opens in the Rotunda Gallery

The exhibition "Mechanical Illusions," which features the work of three UNL student artists, opens today in the Nebraska Union Rotunda Gallery. The exhibit, open through Sept. 16, includes the work of Alisha Parpart, Amanda Heskett and Sarah Lieswald.

In "Mechanical Illusions," the artists explore illusions made possible by the use of a camera, through abstraction, narration or display. The exhibit also includes paintings that feature illusions.

The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit is sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History.
