The Robert J. Kutak Center for the Teaching and Study of Applied Ethics hosts its first Brownbag Lunch Series in Ethics Across the Disciplines. John Bender, professor of journalism, will address Confidentiality in Journalism and Law 12:30 p.m. Sept. 14 in the Nebraska Union.

The hour-long discussion will focus on ethics in this context; participants are asked to bring their experience, expertise and interest in ethics, along with a brownbag lunch.

The Ethics Center promotes ethics across the disciplines at UNL, and as part of its mission, hosts the lunches during the year. The lunch discussions provide a forum for university faculty, students and staff to discuss relevant case studies that highlight ethical questions arising throughout the disciplines.
