Technology advancements are helping amp up the sound system in the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Support from patrons and organizations have allowed the Lied to begin the first phase of a sound-system upgrade. The new equipment is expected to be in use before the end of March. Postal service prices to change Jan. 22

The U.S. Postal Service will increase the cost to mail most items on Jan. 22.The cost to deliver most mail items through the U.S. Postal Service will change Jan. 22. Mail services affected include first-class, standard (non-profit), periodicals, package services and extra services. The overall average price increase across mail services is capped by law at 2.1 percent. Continue reading…

 

NASA researcher to give free lecture Jan. 18

Kurt Polzin, electric propulsion project leader at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, will speak at 3 p.m., Jan. 18 in Scott Engineering Center, room 237. Polzin, hosted by the electrical engineering program, will discuss pulsed inductive thrusters and his work for NASA. The lecture is free.

Biennial Faculty Art Exhibition opens today
