ASCE student groups competed during the Mid-Continent Conference at the University of Southern Illinois-Carbondale. Lincoln's FE exam trivia team took home first place and the scavenger hunt team took home second. Omaha's concrete canoe has been entered in a drawing for a wildcard spot at nationals.
CIVE students Derek Nelson and Isaac Knutson will have their water treatment plant model on display outside of Memorial Stadium for the Senior Design Showcase on April 27th. The project was developed in collaboration with students from the electrical and computer engineering department.
Capri Keeler has earned the 2018 Olin Dart National Scholarship from Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society.
Scholarships from Chi Epsilon are awarded based on work and research experience, service activity and academic honors.
