Dr. Yusong Li, graduate students Thompson Delon and Chuyang Liu, and REU student Ian Giancarlo participated in the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience / Bright Lights Nanocamp. They conducted sessions to teach middle school students how nanotechnology can help when cleaning up oil spills.
Ph.D. student Ernest Tufuor earned the Intelligent Transportation Society Heartland Award. He received the award at the organization’s meeting for his paper on the usage of a Bluetooth-plus-Wi-Fi device for travel time research.
