Random fact about yourself: I have been to four different countries.
Something you have learned as a W.H. Thompson Scholar: To balance my time and use it wisely while juggling the various activities that I am involved in.
Something you love most about being a W.H. Thompson Scholar: I really love the small class sizes. I feel like I am able to focus more than being in a 2oo person class. I get distracted in large classes and that doesn’t help me any. And also the atmosphere we all have come accustomed to in Harper. Being in classes with people that live in your building makes all the difference.
Where you see yourself in 10 years: Let’s see, I will be 29 so I also plan to be married and staring a family. But I really see myself in ten years overseas in Australia or London doing my job as an international news correspondent. That’s actually all I want to do I want to travel the world telling news and going to the places other reporters don’t want to go. Ten years seems like a long way away, but it’ll be here before I can blink.
Anything additional you would like to include: I enjoy singing and dancing. I am the new RA on Abel 11. My dream pet is a black and white teacup Pomeranian. I want to explore Middle Earth aka New Zealand where the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit trilogy was shot. My favorite artist in the music industry is a tie between Lauryn Hill and India Arie. My favorite color is purple and I try to wear it every day besides my nail polish. I was in the Daily Nebraskan fashion show this year and I participated in the Spring Omaha Fashion Week in March. I have been modeling since ninth grade and it is so much fun. I love any excuse to dress up.
