The W.H. Thompson Scholars staff understands the value that supportive family and friends play in a student’s success in college and the importance of allowing family and friends to feel informed about the experiences their student is having on campus. During the W.H. Thompson Friends and Family Breakfast, scholars will have a chance to introduce their family and friends to the W.H. Thompson staff members and take a peek into their life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
This event is a complimentary breakfast hosted over the same weekend as UNL’s Parents Weekend. To learn more about the other activities hosted during Parents Weekend and how to register, please visit http://parentsassoc.unl.edu/parents-weekend. However, please do know that you are invited to the W.H. Thompson Friends and Family Breakfast regardless of whether or not you choose to participate in the other weekend activities associated with Parents Weekend. Parking will be provided for guests who attend the event and will be available at the “A” Parking Lot west of the Harper Dining Hall. Parking passes will be available with one of our student staff members at the entrance of the parking lot (please look for students in a black and red polo with William H. Thompson logo).
