Dear Thompson Scholars,
I wanted to let you all know that after two academic years with W.H. Thompson, my last day with the learning community will be Friday, May 15. I have accepted an opportunity with the University of Nebraska Medical Center that will allow me to continue to grow in my career and still remain in the city of Lincoln. I am excited for this new experience; however, I am very disappointed to leave all of you. While in this position, I have learned the importance of working hard to reach your goals and to care for those around you. You have all impacted me in so many ways and I am forever grateful for the time we have been able to work together.
Please stop by and see me throughout Finals Week. On Tuesday, May 5th from 2-4 pm there will be cake in my office celebrating our successes this semester. Please stop by and say “see you soon!”
