            Seniors Ty Schurr of Farnam and Hannah Lambert of Lincoln were crowned king and queen Saturday at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Homecoming celebration. They were crowned on the field at Memorial Stadium at halftime of the Nebraska-Wisconsin football game.

            Schurr is an agribusiness major with an emphasis in ag banking and finance. The son of Jerry and Linda Schurr, he is president of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Student Advisory Board.

            Lambert is a music education major with minors in communication studies and psychology. The daughter of Sam and Kelle Lambert, she is the drum major of the Cornhusker Marching Band.

            Following is a list by hometown of the other 18 Homecoming royalty candidates.

NEBRASKA

            Fort Calhoun: Kelsey Goodbary, nutrition, exercise and health science major with minors in humanities in medicine and chemistry. The daughter of Jim and Jana Siemonsma, she is president of the Honors Peer Mentor Leader program.

            Grand Island: Kara Brostrom, psychology major with minors in political science, English, and sociology. The daughter of Kevin and Bev Brostrom, she is a captain of the Husker Cheer Squad.

            Humphrey: Emily German, advertising/public relations major. The daughter of Allen and Cheryl German, she is a student leader with Fellowship of Catholic University Students.

            Kearney: Kyle Wroblewski, civil engineering major. The son of Richard and Kathy Wroblewski, he serves as external vice-president for ASUN Student Government.

            Lincoln: Jack Christie, advertising major with minors in Spanish and art. The son of Tom and Carmen Christie, he is the PR/marketing/merchandising co-chair of the Bathtub Dogs, an all-male a cappella group on campus.

            Lincoln: Zach Watson, economics major with minors in psychology and business management. The son of Don and Christy Watson, he is president of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

            Omaha: Laura Collins, secondary social sciences education major with an endorsement in coaching. The daughter of Dan and Shelley Collins, she is the panhellenic director of sorority recruitment.

            Omaha: Tyler Gruttemeyer, music education major. The son of Mike and Chris Gruttemeyer, he is one of the student directors for Big Red Singers, the university show choir.

            Omaha: Nolan Johnson, business management major. The son of  Scott and Donna Johnson, he is the philanthropy chair for Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

            Shickley: Eric Kamler, agricultural economics major. The son of Mike and Kim Kamler, he is student body president and student regent for UNL.

            South Sioux City: Moses Pacheco, civil engineering major and Spanish minor. The son of Guadalupe Camberos and Deolvin Pacheco, he is the president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

            Wisner: Ross Jensen, agribusiness and finance major. The son of Randy and Staci Jensen, he is a co-chair of the Big Event.

ELSEWHERE

            Bethel, Conn.: Michael Dunn, communications studies major. The son of Daniel and Rosemary Dunn, he serves as the government liaison chair for ASUN Student Government.

            Kansas City, Mo.: Lauren White, criminal justice/pre-law major with a minor in English. The daughter of Dan and Robin White, she is president of the Criminal Justice Student Association.

            Los Angeles, Calif.: Jordan Wilson, hospitality, restaurant and tourism management major. The daughter of Connie and Joe Wilson, she is a life skills assistant with the Husker Athletic Department.

            Overland Park, Kan.: Brooke Grossenbacher, food science and technology major. The daughter of Doug and Penny Grossenbacher, she is serving her second year as an ambassador for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

            Prairie Village, Kan.: Alexi Brown, natural resource and environmental economics major with minors in energy science and mathematics. The daughter of James and Elizabeth Brown, she is the secretary of Mortar Board.

            Brazil: Natalia Santos, nutrition, exercise and health sciences major with a minor in humanities in medicine. The daughter of Jose and Lidia Santos, she is speaker of the senate for the ASUN Student Government.
