Media advisory: Announcement about future of former Nebraska Bookstore site

WHERE: Former Nebraska Bookstore building, 13th and Q streets

Lincoln, Neb., November 5th, 2015 —

Media are invited to attend a special announcement regarding the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's academic plans for the former Nebraska Bookstore site.

The event begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, inside the former bookstore building at 13th and Q streets in downtown Lincoln. Media members are asked to be at the building by no later than 10:45 a.m.

Chancellor Harvey Perlman and University of Nebraska President Hank Bounds, as well as officials from the NU Foundation and other special guests will be on hand for the announcement and will participate in a one-of-a-kind celebration regarding the building's future.

Media will enter through the building's main door, which faces west toward 13th Street. There will be a reserved area for reporters, photographers and cameras with tripods inside the building. For broadcasters, a mult box will be available.
