UNL conducted separate commencement exercises for postgraduate (May 8), baccalaureate (May 9) and law (May 9) degrees. Chancellor Harvey Perlman presided over the graduate and baccalaureate ceremonies at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, while Steven Willborn, dean of the College of Law, presided over the law exercises at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Chemist Eugene "Gene" Cordes addressed the baccalaureate ceremonies, UNL mathematics professor Judy Walker addressed the postgraduate ceremonies and Theodore C.
