Nebraska 4-H is EGG-cited to announce a NEW 4-H Chick Days event featuring a variety of statewide 4-H poultry and food science contests that don't require live animals, including egg decorating, poultry quiz bowl, photography, omelet cookery and speech contests. Chick Days will be held on Saturday, March 14 at the Animal Science Complex on UNL East Campus. Open to enrolled 4-H members ages 10-18 — need not be enrolled in the poultry project. The event is designed to encourage youth to explore what poultry and food science industries have to offer. The winning quiz bowl senior team receives a $2,000 scholarship! $50 cash prize to the senior champions of the other contests. Contest entry forms must be submitted by March 1 .
