Nebraska 4-H is partnering with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rodeo Team to offer an all new State 4-H Rodeo! The event will be held at the Lancaster Event Center Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 9. Classes include goat tying, barrel racing, pole bending, tie down roping, break-a-way roping and dally team roping. All entry forms and Horse ID forms must be submitted to the Lancaster County Extension office by Friday, Sept. 17. More information and forms are at https://4h.unl.edu/state-rodeo.
The UNL rodeo team will also host an OPEN Youth rodeo Sunday, Oct. 10 at the same facilities (questions about the open youth rodeo can be answered by rodeo team coach Marshal Peterson at Marshal.peterson@unl.edu).
