Please complete and return the Club Treasurer’s Report form even if your club does not have a bank account (if your club holds money, it must have a bank account). Contact the Extension office for more information. Extension is required to file your treasurer’s report in your club’s permanent file.

Career Portfolio vs. the new 4-H Annual Achievement Application

The new Annual Achievement Application will take the place of the Career Portfolio for those who do not wish to submit a Career Portfolio book this year or never have. It is for ages 8-18. New 4-H dog club begins Jan. 3

A new dog 4-H club for youth ages 8–18 will begin on Jan. 3, 2019. Meetings will be every other Thursday at 6:45-7:45 p.m. at the Lancaster Event Center – 4-H office located by Pavilion 3. Focus will be on obedience through May, with a formal graduation ceremony at that time. Continue reading…

Deadline for Nebraska 4-H Foundation Scholarships is Jan. 15

The Nebraska 4-H Foundation provides 4-H high school seniors the opportunity to apply for scholarships. New in 2019, all scholarship applications must be submitted via the Annual Achievement Application. Only ONE application is required, even though you may be applying for more than one scholarship. 4-H and FFA exhibitors showing market steers or heifers at the Lancaster County Super Fair and/or Nebraska State Fair must identify and weigh-in their projects at the 4-H/FFA Market Beef Weigh-In on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 6–7 p.m. at the Lancaster Event Center – Pavilion 3.

Overnight Lock-In for 4th & 5th graders

All 4th and 5th graders are invited to 4-H Teen Council’s annual overnight Lock-In which will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 8 p.m.–Saturday, Jan. 26, 8 a.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. This year’s theme will be "Journey to the Stars!" Cost is $20 per person. Registrations due by Jan. 18.
