The new Annual Achievement Application will take the place of the Career Portfolio for those who do not wish to submit a Career Portfolio book this year or never have. It is for ages 8-18. It will be used for county, state and national awards and is a much shorter format of a five page maximum. Continue reading…
A new dog 4-H club for youth ages 8–18 will begin on Jan. 3, 2019. Meetings will be every other Thursday at 6:45-7:45 p.m. at the Lancaster Event Center – 4-H office located by Pavilion 3. Focus will be on obedience through May, with a formal graduation ceremony at that time. Continue reading…

The Nebraska 4-H Foundation provides 4-H high school seniors the opportunity to apply for scholarships. New in 2019, all scholarship applications must be submitted via the Annual Achievement Application. Only ONE application is required, even though you may be applying for more than one scholarship. All 4th and 5th graders are invited to 4-H Teen Council’s annual overnight Lock-In which will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 8 p.m.–Saturday, Jan. 26, 8 a.m. at the Lancaster Extension Education Center. This year’s theme will be "Journey to the Stars!" Cost is $20 per person. Registrations due by Jan. 18.
